Agenda Setting - What are common stories? 

Almost every Indonesian news websites includes article(s) about the high percentage of kidney failure in Indonesia or the banning of dangerous syrup medicine that contains Etigen Glikol in their headline. They include may articles about health.


Framing - How are the stories framed?

Most of the articles are pro BPOM and pro Indonesian Government. Most of them agrees with them to ban syrups with Etilen Glikol.


However there are some articles that are against BPOM (indonesian's health organisation) to ban syrups with Etilen Glikol because in their opinion the Kidney Failure news are hoax.


Reality > Media gatekeepers > Media agenda > Public agenda > Policy agenda

Consumers - people who sees the particular text as a disposable commodity Fans -  devoted followers of media texts who actively engage with the products to construct their own meanings and interpretations beyond the original message.
